MuggleNet vs. The Leaky Cauldron

I know there's not really a big difference (and if there is, I sure as hell don't know about it and I probably sound stupid) between MuggleNet and The Leaky Cauldron, but I feel that MuggleNet is kind of the lesser of the two and I kind of feel bad that I kind of swing towards MuggleNet more than The Leaky Cauldron. Cause, like, when I see all these other obsessed fans and they say "I check The Leaky Cauldron every hour..." I'm like "Does that make me less of a fan if I like MuggleNet?"
And I know what most people think when they hear about MuggleNet: "EMERSON!"
But, really, I didn't even know who Emerson was until AFTER I got into MuggleNet. If anything, I'm more of a fan towards Melissa Anelli than Emerson Spartz. But I don't go to The Leaky Cauldron.
And I don't listen to PotterCast or MuggleCast.
I think part of it is because I didn't get into the books and the fandom until after the fifth movie came out. *runs from the pitchforks*
Am I a bad fan? DFTBA!

  1. You're not. I embrace everyone who is a fan, whenever they decided to read the books. One of my friends still has my DH book and it's already taking her more than 1,5 year to read it. But seriously, whenever I have the chance to share Harry Potter with anyone who will listen, I will. So she's having the book until she has finished it. <3
Personally, I sometimes check out Leaky Con, especially because they have wonderful and organized Rowling quotes. Sometimes I wonder what Rowling thought about a character or something and I check it out. I should check MuggleNet more often, though. I barely know what it looks like. oO But because I'm on a Dutch HP forum, information spreads easily so I don't have to check the sites that often.
