Well, before I start my story, I'm just going to say that my mom's a nurse and that's the only reason I thought of this.
The other day me and my mom were watching A Haunting (don't ask) and one of the people was, like, possessed. So, they're rolling around on the ground, their eyes are in the back of their head, and I was sitting there thinking "How do they KNOW they're possessed? I mean, they could just be having a seizure or something, right?"
Then, of course, I related it to Harry Potter. How do you know if someone was hit by the Cruciatus or if they have a medical problem? And moreso do magical people HAVE medical problems? I mean, most of the medical issues in the series are magical. So how do you tell?
For some sick reason I would love Harry to get a tumor... Okay that's wrong, but still... I'd love to see how they fixed it. Is there a St. Mungo's Hospital for Non-Magical Maladies and Injuries?
I wonder if J.K.R. thought of that while she was writing it... DFTBA!

INTERESTING THOUGHT. You never hear about ''Muggle'' injuries. When, except for alcoholics. I think everyone goes to St. Mungo's anyway. When someone has a seizure, they just have a magical way of solving it.
ReplyDeleteAnd don't worry. My committee-member of last year (our main topics of discussion were always nailpolish, Pokemon and Harry Potter, gah I miss her <3) still tells me that she wishes Harry had actually been murdered by Voldemort.
