Slytherin's Locket.

After reading Deathly Hallows for the third time, I realized something: Why doesn't Harry put Slytherin's locket in the moleskin pouch that Hagrid gave to him for his birthday, instead of wearing it and being miserable? I mean, that would make more sense, wouldn't it? It'd be safe. Only Harry can open the pouch. And, doesn't it have unlimited space inside, so it can't get full, or something?
Is it just being in close contact with the locket that makes you feel that way, or is it actually wearing it? Because, if it's just wearing the thing that makes you miserable, then you can put it in the pouch and feel better. If not, then I can see why it's such a big deal... DFTBA!

What Do Normal Wizards Do?

Harry Potter follows the boy wizard through his adventures as he fights the evil Lord Voldemort, right? But, have you ever wondered, what are all the other wizards doing? I mean, if you think about it, there really isn't a whole lot to do in the Wizarding World.
There aren't any televisions. You can't call a friend, cause there's no telephone. And not EVERYONE likes Quidditch. I guess, you could go shopping in Diagon Alley, but that's got to get boring after a while too, right? So what do wizards do to entertain themselves?
Guess there's not a lot to do, other than play with your wands... DFTBA!

Sorry, Sorry, Sorry!

I know! I've been bad. I really have been busy, though. (And I feel kind of weird talking to, like, 6 people like I would talk to a crowd...)
I'm having a tough time getting through school. I had to basically play catch up this year because I failed my second semester of my freshman year. And this summer, I'm having to take an online course because, apparently, I'm lacking a credit and, if I don't take this course, I won't move onto my Junior year. *rolls eyes*
So, anyway, I'm back, and I'm going to post a few short entries.
Also, I'm thinking about starting a new blog. I'm not sure because it would be a little more personal and I don't know if I want to post something like that here. But, it might help I guess. I'll think about it... DFTBA!

Halloween

Okay, I know I haven't updated in a while and I'm deeply sorry, I'm just really busy with school and it's hard to find things to talk about, but I'm going to try and start up again. :)
I dressed up as a Ravenclaw student for Halloween. I can't be Luna, though because I don't have blonde hair. Everyone was like "Are you Hermione? :D" I'm like "NO! I'm dressed in RAVENCLAW colours. Hermione is a GRYFFINDOR. Jeez, don't any of you read? Stupid Muggles..." Okay I didn't say THAT exactly, but I was thinking it.
I hate it when people think that just because they've seen the movies they automatically know everything Harry Potter and try to show it off, but then they just look stupid.
Do you know what I mean? Those people who're like "Oh I love Harry Potter! I love the part where Harry goes into Snape's mind and sees his dad picking on him! XD"
I try to correct them, but it's just a waste of time and breath because, unless they've read the books, they won't know what I'm talking about. I'd be like "Well, actually, Harry goes into Snape's Pensieve-" "Pen what?" and then I have to explain what a Pensieve is.
It's just tiring being around people who aren't at the same intellectual and literary level I am.
I gotta get out of here. Can you, like, go to the theme park and STAY at Hogwarts? Like, take classes, eat there, be with other HP fans, ect. That would be awesome... If only, if only... DFTBA!

In Defense of Hufflepuff

Before I found my true house, Ravenclaw, for the longest time I was a Hufflepuff. I thought "I'm kind, and loyal, I must be a Hufflepuff."
I told my friends this and they laughed. Apparently, Hufflepuffs are lame..?
Uhm... No they're not.
What about all the Hufflepuffs that were in Dumbledore's Army? Hannah Abott, Susan Bones, Justin Finch-Fletchley, Ernie Macmillan? That took a lot of courage to rebel. And most of them were Prefects.
What about Tonks? She's one of the best Aurors in The Order of the Phoenix and no one thinks she's lame when she has a wand in her hand.
And, of course, there's Cedric Diggory. He's in Hufflepuff, but obviously the Goblet of Fire thought he was suitable to compete in a dangerous tournament such as the Triwizard Tournament.
I also would like to point out that Voldemort, one of the most powerful wizards in the world, who could have made his Horcruxes out of anything, chose to make one out of Hufflepuff's cup. So, obviously, he thought Hufflepuff was important enough because if he didn't he wouldn't have taken the time to make a Horcrux out of her cup.
And if Hufflepuffs WERE lame then J.K. Rowling wouldn't have even bothered to put them in the books.
Hufflepuffs may kill you with kindness, but, still, they're hardcore enough to kill you... DFTBA!

MuggleNet vs. The Leaky Cauldron

I know there's not really a big difference (and if there is, I sure as hell don't know about it and I probably sound stupid) between MuggleNet and The Leaky Cauldron, but I feel that MuggleNet is kind of the lesser of the two and I kind of feel bad that I kind of swing towards MuggleNet more than The Leaky Cauldron. Cause, like, when I see all these other obsessed fans and they say "I check The Leaky Cauldron every hour..." I'm like "Does that make me less of a fan if I like MuggleNet?"
And I know what most people think when they hear about MuggleNet: "EMERSON!"
But, really, I didn't even know who Emerson was until AFTER I got into MuggleNet. If anything, I'm more of a fan towards Melissa Anelli than Emerson Spartz. But I don't go to The Leaky Cauldron.
And I don't listen to PotterCast or MuggleCast.
I think part of it is because I didn't get into the books and the fandom until after the fifth movie came out. *runs from the pitchforks*
Am I a bad fan? DFTBA!

Siriusly?!

I just found out... I can't go.
My step-dad's working nights... So I can't go?
But what about my grandmother (STEP-grandmother!)? She can watch the kids, right?
Nope. She's TERRIFIED of spending ONE NIGHT alone!
SIRIUSLY?!
For the past 4 days I've been daydreaming, going through awesome scenarios of this show and I can't go because grandma's afraid of the dark?!
I had it all planned out. I was going to call my aunt and see if I could get a few hundred dollars so I could go. Then, I was going to call my friend to see if she could go. Then I was going to look up the library on Google Maps and figure out whether I wanted to dress up as Tonks or just in my Ravenclaw attire.
And now I can't... all because my step-dad's working nights.
*choked sob* I really wanted to go... DFTBA.
